The Earth is greener: China and India are the main contributors

NASA revealed that the planet is greener today than it was 20 years ago, and the main people responsible for this transformation are China and India!

What do the data show?

The increase in leaf growth on the planet is equivalent to the area of the Amazon Rainforest. 🌿

One third of this increase comes from China and India, even though they cover only 9% of the world’s green area.
The phenomenon is driven by reforestation in China and intensive agriculture in both countries.
