According to BloombergNEF (BNEF), Brazil could receive US$1.3 trillion in low-carbon energy investments, making it one of the main global destinations in the sector. Its leadership in the G20 in 2024 and the upcoming COP30 in 2025 further strengthen this position.
To achieve energy transition targets, Brazil must reduce emissions by 14% by 2030 and 70% by 2040, aligning with the Net Zero emissions scenario by 2050, which requires investments in various technologies.
